I am a walker, but wear running shoes. For years I could not find a shoe that did not slip on my heel and give me blisters. About 4 years ago I discovered the Brooks and have purchased a pair about every year. I tried the GTS8 and the fit is great. I am extremely satisfied with this shoe.
Wears this shoe: For my morning walk routine, approximately 3-4 miles a day.

I found that my true shoe size was a D width rather than a B. And it is not easy to find good looking casual shoes in wider widths. This Brooks sneaker was perfect from the first moment. It is light weight - not clunky and good looking, too!

I have a very narrow foot with problem toes, and I like this shoe for 3 reasons1. Narrow heel,wide toe box2. Low rise so it doesn't hit the ankle bone3. Has good stability
