I purchased this shoe because I wanted a comfortable shoe, but didn't want to wear an athletic shoe.This shoe worked well on a recent trip to British Columbia where each day included much walking. We hiked around towns and also in parks and woods. I was not disappointed in my new comfy shoes.
Wears this shoe: Every day on a two week trip, and shopping or walking at home.

The black leather and the brown sued make this versitle. I didn't really see the T-strap in the picture, but it worked for me. I have one foot that's a half-size smaller but two widths wider than the other. The strap keeps this on and the removable insole lets me make it fit better.
Wears this shoe: Casual but requires more dressiness than athletic shoes

I liked how the shoe looked and thought that it would accomodate my orthotics. The heel is way too wide. I am going to return them regretfully.
