They are shoes you need to break in before wearing for a long period of time. I wore mine for a wedding and by the time the reception hit the plastic was rubbing the side of my foot raw. Very nice shoes but need to really break in before wearing.

Bought this shoe to wear to an evening wedding. Fits me great which is hard to find since I have a very long, skinny foot with almost no arch. I usually slip right through this style of shoe but not this one (I'll wear it barefoot). The sole is not leather as stated in description but "manmade". I hope I can scuff it up enough so I don't slip while dancing!
