I wanted some shoes to wear hiking in the summer that would let my feet breathe in the heat. These should do the trick. Very comfortable the first time I put them on.

This sandal is very comfy with good toe protection. I bought it for wearing in the water, but it feels so good I'm sure I will wear it often, especially for long outings. I am also a big fan of the Keen company and their environmentally friendly philosophy..all companies should follow their example.

I couldn't pass up the sale on the blue Keen Newports! I have three other pair in different colors and love them. I am flat footed and they provide some support unlike the similarly-styled Privo.When they get a little stinky simply throw them in the wash and then air dry . . . good as new and fresh as a daisy!Regarding size . . . I wear and 8-1/2 or 9 and ordered the 9 in the Newport and it fits perfectly. My feet are a little on the wide side not sure how they might fit a gal with very narrow feet through they are adjustable and can be cinched up.If you're looking for a comfortable summer shoe look no further. I've worn my Newports all over Italy on vacation, for daily walks (1-2 miles) and just around town.
Wears this shoe: On walks, on vacation, around town. Great everyday after work shoe.
