This is my second pair. I literally wore out my first pair. These are the best boots/shoes I've ever bought. They are rather pricey (the main reason I wore the first pair out before buying another pair) but so worth the money. My first pair last over 5 years. The sheepskin on the inside is unbelievably warm. I work out in the country in a small office and a lot of times the heat gets turned off at night and it's really cold in the mornings. I find that even when it's so cold, having warm boots make all the difference. The Excalibur have very nice soles, they aren't heavy but very well made. They also have an added seam across the toe that gives the boot more style. The Excalibur also has a decorative brown woven strip running up the back - I think it looks great. I always get the short since I wear them under jeans. I ended up buying my mom a pair for her birthday right and another pair for a family friend at Christmas. I'm not sure about fit. They are very flexible and tend to stretch a bit. I like a wider shoe and they seem to be a bit on the wide side.

I bought a pair of these 7 years ago, and they only had in black. After a while I ordered Uggs because I found them in tan, I have worn them both equally, and the koolaburras have held up so much better, the Uggs heel began to peel a few years back but the koolaburras are still going strong, and I'm hard on shoes, I wear them out with the horses, in the snow, etc...
