I received these work boots 3 weeks ago and began wearing them right a way. Based on other reviews, I ordered my size and width with no increase or decrease in size and they fit correctly. I'm on my feet at work 10 hours a day, working in the rain and snow. There was no break-in time at all and this boot is extreamly comfortable. They also keep my feet warm and dry. I love these boots, they are exactly what the doctor ordered!!!!

Very lightweight and comfortable steel toe boot. Quality leather, very soft no break-in needed. This is a high quality boot that would normally be out of my price range but the Shoebuy discount and free shipping dropped the price to that of lesser quality boots.

This is my first time purchasing a construction boot from Lacrosse. While it's claims for comfort cannot be denied, the boot already is seeing signs of serious wear after three weeks of working them hard. I'm currently employed as a union laborer for and we are installing underground sewer and water services for various developements. I really depend on my feet obviously and what they're strapped with is of utmost importance. When I first took the boots out of the box, I noticed how light they were compared to most others I've worn. I was delighted by this. A steel toe that doesn't feel like you're dragging a girder with you through the rough terrain of a newly developing piece of land? What a pleasure! However, as the three weeks went by, I was noticing some serious wear on the tip of the shoe. Anyone who's worn steel toes before is aware of their tendancy to wear out at the tip of the shoe wear the steel is. But after so short a period of time? I think this is where the quality issue comes in. Sure, we all want a comfortable good looking boot to work in, lightweight and durable but I think you trade in something for it-the long term durability of your investment.
