I took the advice of the reviewers and bought a half size larger, but it took a full size to fit. We still haven't had any snow or cold, but I'm going to be ready.

I am going on vacation during the winter and needed a new pair of shoes that would fit my outdoors lifestyle. I have only tried these on in the house but they are quite comfortable and I know will keep my feet warm. They appear to be of excellent quality and Merrell shoes never dissapoint.

I bought this shoe because I have the summer version hiking boot, which fits perfectly, and is so comfortable. I wanted a winter hiking version, so I I tried it out one day, hiking through mud and water. It was warm (too warm on a summer day!), waterproof and very comfortable.

Great boot, trusted name and very durable sole compared to other brands. Keeps feet warm & dry feet. Normally wear a 9 or a 9W, had to order a 9.5. The 9 was really tight around the base of toes. Already wore them outside before the real discomfort of a new but too narrow boot set in. Ended up giving the 9s away and ordering the 9.5. Very happy with them.
