I very much like the looks of this shoe, but, in truth am having a bit of difficulty "breaking it in." The heel is rather narrow and it feels as if I don't come down directly on it, my ankle might roll off the shoe to one side. I've taken out the inner liner as suggested and replaced it with my orthodics but am still having a bit of discomfort adjusting to the feel of the shoe. And, after wearing them for two weeks - I'm preparing for a month-long trip abroad during which I plan to walk my wheels off - they are getting a bit more comfortable. If I'd known how much "breaking in" these shoes required before purchasing them, I wouldn't have done so.
