This is a good quality made shoe. I am happy with the size, but not the width. Its actually a little too wide for me. I have read other reviews about them being smaller than sized, and that is why I ordered a wider width.I would recommend anyone to purchase this shoe. I wish it had more of an arch. I bought a pair of insole arch products and that is what I am wearing to partially compensate for the above.

As a long-time wearer of Rockports, I found that this style and model fitted my purposes very well. The "lift" is comfortable, the size fits well, and the materials are of high quality. I was pleased to find that my orthotics, as anticipated, fit very well in this Rockport casual.

I bought these because it is the only casual shoe I will wear. The most comfortable shoe I ever owned. I actually have a pair for doing the lawn that is 14 years old and other than the inside cusioning, they are still good!

The Rockport 7100 is used for my daily (6 days a week)5 1/2 mile walk. It is used both in dry and wet weather. The 7100 was received on the day previously announced. The break in period was the first 2 1/2 hours I used them. There was never a formal break in period such as walking slowly. I immediately assumed my normal pace. The 7100 arrived in pristine shape with superior packaging preventing any bruising or marks. I shall order a second pair to be worn with sports attire or other like informal occasion. They are attractive for this purpose. The 7100 which this pair replaced, lasted 3 1/2 years. They were still useable but not for serious walking and so now they are my gardening shoes. They still retain their shape above the heels and on the instep. The laces are the original laces. There has been no compromising that I could detect or feel in material through out this "shoe system". The overall design allows the slight extra weight to be worn with no discomfort and ensures strength of the shoe last
