Product Description (Men's Rockport Blackville)
This shoe features the DMX 10 technology, dynamic cushioning system. This shoe features a padded collar and tongue. This helps to prevent blisters and lace bruising.
The radial construction forefoot allows for exceptional cushioning and flexibility.The footbed is a tri-layer construction. The moisture absorbent OrthoLite foam top layer and dual-density EVA foam bottom layer allow for variable cushioning, and comfort.
The lightweight cushioning midsole helps to reduce foot and leg fatigue. The rubber outsole is constructed exclusively for durable traction
The Fiberlon shank is lightweight and delivers midfoot support and its airport friendly! The full-grain leather upper is easy to clean and maintain.

This style tends to run narrow. If you have a wide foot, for an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

The shoes were true to size and comfortable.On the other hand the shoes did NOT have the "tumbled" look that was promised,and shown in the picture.I purchased the "tumbled" brown leather which was not supposed to be "smooth". The look I wanted and expected was not what I got. Other than the grain of the leather, I am very happy with the shoes as they are very comfortable and I wear them daily.

I have a very narrow foot, so buying shoes that fit is extremely difficult. I know that Rockports have a great reputation for durability and comfort. As a manager in a large hotel I need comfort, good looks and utility. The RockportBlackville provides for all of my needs.

I am a pharmacist and stand the entire day. This is the only shoe I have worn in 3 years. They're comfortable all day. I wear a pair everywhere except for formal occasions. I have both brown & black & would like to see more options with the color & leather choices. It's a great shoe.

I purchsed my present pair of Rockports based on the previous pair I bought over a year ago. I really don't like the, 'European' style where the toe of the shoe looks as though it might fit a duck's foot. (Wide, not tapered.) However, based upon the performance of the previous pair, I will keep these and try not to pay a lot of attention the look.
Wears this shoe: Semi-dress until wear relegates it to an everyday pair.
