Timberland Altamont Fisherman Sandal are simply the most comfortable footwear I have ever put on my feet.
Wears this shoe: Any time I'm want. For urban walking, not off road hiking.

Great styling and quality. Sizing will depend on if worn with socks or barefoot. 1 size larger than marked with socks and 1/2 size larger barefoot. Would have preferred a "rubberized" insole for cleaning if wearing barefoot. Very comfortable.

I bought this sandal because of the shoe-like back against the heel, which makes for a good tight fit. No flip-flops here :-) They feel good, except one of the sandals was not finished properly and I had to cut a piece of the stitching so it did not rub. The other sandal was fine, and I would still order them again. They are well made and feel good.

He says these shoes are a relief to wear if his feet swell, and he finds the inner sole so comfortable that he doesn't use the orthotic ones which he substitutes for the insole on most shoes.

I bought these for my husband who is very hard to find shoes for since he wears a size 15. Took a chance by ordering online that they would fit and when he tried them on said they were one of the most comfortable shoes he had every worn straight out of the box. The next day, he asked me to go online and order another pair for future use, and I did! Great shoe, fantastic quality, sole is unbelievable!
