Not leather--only leather-like

Reviewer: Disappointed from Dewey, Arizona
Although the design is great, and the look is great,I was disappointed to see that tote is made of synthetic leather-like materials--not leather as advertised. Had the tote been made of leather I would have expected it to last nearly a life time with daily use which is the reason for my purchase. Now, I fear that I will be looking for a replacement in a year or two. Could this be deceptive advertising?

This bag is a good deal, many compartments inside (e.g. two for pens, a clear one for an ID, several credit card slots and smaller compartments, as well as two deviders and a few larger pockets and two outside pockets that are great for tickets and passports). However, the bag is not leather as advertised, just immitation. It still looks good, but might not be as durable on the long run. I fit my 17" mac in there for occasional use. When I fill most pockets for travel it gets a little difficult to get it in and out at airport security.
