The shoe has very good support on the trails we hike. We hike a trail daily near our home that is 2 miles long and the shoe has held back the water and has very good support so far with two months of use.
Wears this shoe: Daily for light field hikes.

I really like the style of this boot. The collar is very soft and comfortable. I bought these for the Gortex lining. I'll wear band-aids on my heels the first time to avoid any rubbing. Great Boot! I would wear them now to go hiking, but I've been lazy!
